You Can Help!

The Campus Center is coordinating the NJIT FOR JAPAN - UNICEF DRIVE to help the victims of Japan's earthquake and tsunami.   Last year NJIT raised almost $10,000 for Haiti, and this year we have raised an additional $2250!  Now it's time for Highlanders to help Japan!

Donations to UNICEF received by April 1 through the UNICEF Campus Challenge will be doubled by the George Harrison Fund

You can help by doing any of the following:

Volunteer to staff the NJIT FOR JAPAN - UNICEF DRIVE Table in the Campus Center Lobby from Monday, March 28 thru Friday, April 1 from 10am - 6pm

A sign-up sheet is at the Info Desk or email me at minnich@njit.edu  with your desired day/time.  This is a great community service opportunity for individuals and student organizations!  You can make a difference in someone's life!

Make a donation to UNICEF (United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund):

  1. On-line by clicking on the "Donate Now" button.

  2. By sending a check using the attached form.   Please make checks payable to the United States Fund For UNICEF.  Remember -- donations received by UNICEF by April 1 will be doubled, so mail the form no later than March 29!  Please let me know that you've made a donation so I can alert the UNICEF staff to its arrival.

  3. At the NJIT FOR JAPAN - UNICEF DRIVE table in the Campus Center Lobby.

Attend the NJIT Faculty & Staff Variety Show on Friday, April 1 at 7:30 pm in the Theater.

All proceeds will be donated to UNICEF to help the Japanese victims.  Advance tickets will be available at the UNICEF table in the Campus Center.

In addition,  you can also donate to the RED CROSS directly by using the Wells Fargo Bank ATMs on campus.

Thank you!
